here here, 3 days and all nights dancing for a respectable €120 on the door, capacity capped at 5k, no scum in sight, savage performances from all who will play at it, ah here there really is no competition except for electric picnic and then theres a bloody life fest at that too, roll on these 2 gigs, that navan seisún looks sweet too btw, who's runnin it????

I hear there is a 'big announcement' coming on friday about this planet love south gig.. I predict 1 of 2 things:

1 - scaling down of the event to the size of the M50 Exit 15 gig to cater for <5000 to reduce costs and deny anyone a chance to object to the licence, since you don't need one for <5000 people.

or...

2 - the addition of ****** (not full show just a DJ set since he can't get arrested these days..) & Eddie Halliwell (pushing his amazingly original idea to 'edit' the tunes live and make a whole new tour experience,,) for no extra cost..

I have to admit, if they add ******, and Ed-iT to the bill, then it becomes actually good value, and anyone NOT going would be doing themselves..

If they go for [1], then it's egg on faces for anyone that agreed to work for them this year for 150euro, as there will be nowhere to put them,and they will be blanked - enjoy your failure guys.. If it's [2], then there is no contest - the gig will be as important and as act-laden as any of the big Dutch or German events, with the added bonus of some welcome localisation. Then, and only then, will the price be worth it.. As it is, that price is about Double what it's actually worth (taking into account everyone is broke now...)

so glad i chose life festival and got the hell off the planet love buzz, still waitin to be paid for judgment night work completed on their behalf end of feb, early mar ffs!!! it being sorted as we speak tho and no amount of vexatious allegations will stop the power of the law and for me to receive all my monies

I might still go. the girlfriend wants to hit up a few festivals this year, and I wouldn't mind getting to at least one or two dancey type of fests, so regardless of lineups, I might tip along for the day out and camp my arse in the letrik tent
