just off the phone to the guy whos running it there now, im booked to play a new live electronic night kicking off in coyote on thursday the 30th of this month. the angle is pretty much all irish, all live, all electronic

first lineup lineup is me, timmy & tommy and russell cooley

so expect electro, nice vocal house and some ear raping techno

dunno how much it is in, presume it wont be much, and i believe there will be drinks promotions on the night

if anyones not doing anything that night itd be good if yis could pop in, even for a while just to show the owners of the venue that itd be a decent thing to pursue and keep going

only really listen to dance when im producing/djing

Really? Find that really strange, no offence or notin! I Fucken eat sleep tunes 24/7..seriously! A dj/producer that mainly listens to rock, im freaked out
I occasionally listen to somethin different like guns n roses or thin lizzy, but basically il just listen 2 a bit of house or that if im not in the mood 4 the hard stuff!

tbh i find most dance to be completely throwaway

stuff like autechre or plaid is different tho, but then its not really dance

then as well ye cant go wrong with some electronic tinged post rock like 60 days of static

but i wouldnt be able to listen to dance music all day

dont even go clubbing any more, and the only 2 acts whod lure me back into a clubbing environment if i wasnt playing are mr scruff and kraftwerk, both of which are playing at electric picnic

which is nice

so bands all weekend at that apart from the afforementioned acts, neither of which would really fall into the "dance" category anyway
